Township Rollers will host Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) FC in the 2018 CAF Champions League Group A game at the National Stadium in Gaborone on Friday.

Kick-off is at 21h00 CAT.

The Botswana giants reached the group stage after eliminating Sudanese giants Al Merrikh and Tanzanian champions Young Africans.

Rollers are making their first appearance in the group stage and they will be hoping to qualify for the knockout stages.

Rollers head coach Nikola Kavazovic will hoping that influential attackers Joel Mogorosi and Segolame Boy inspire his side to victory in their opening group match.

Meanwhile, KCCA booked their place in the group stage after overcoming Madagascar champions CNAPS and Ethiopian giants Saint George in the qualifying rounds.

The Ugandan giants are also making their debut in the group stage and will be targeting a winning start in Group A.

Highly-rated young striker Muhammad Shaban will be unleashed by KCCA head coach Mike Mutebi against Rollers.

Egyptian side Al Ahly will host Tunisian giants Esperance de Tunis in the other Group A match on Friday.
