USM Alger tackle Young Africans in Algiers

USM Alger will face off with Young Africans in the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup Group D game at the Stade du 5-Juillet-1962 in Algiers on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 21h00 CAT.

The Algerian club booked their place in the group stage after beating Nigerian club Plateau United in the play-off round last month.

Alger are hoping to win their first continental competition having lost in the 2015 CAF Champions League final.

Meanwhile, Young Africans overcame Ethiopian side Welayta Dicha in the play-off round.

The Tanzanian side reached the Confederation Cup (CAF Cup Winners' Cup) quarter-finals 1995, but they have never won a CAF competition.

Ghanaian referee Daniel Laryea will officiate the game between Alger and Young Africans.
