Al Masry look to brush aside Songo

Al Masry are set to face UD Songo in the CAF Confederation Cup Group B match at the Al Masry Club Stadium in Port Said on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 21h00.

The Egyptian club booked their place in the group stage after beating Gabonese side CF Mounana in the play-off round last month.

Al Masry have reached the semi-finals of the Confederation Cup twice (in 1999 and 2002).

Meanwhile, Songo qualified for the last 16 after defeating Sudanese club Hilal Obayed in the play-off round.

The Mozambican outfit made their debut in the Confederation Cup last year and they were eliminated in the preliminary round.

Match referee Ndala Ngambo of DR Congo will officiate the game between Al Masry and Songo.
