Du Sahel draw in Angola against De Agosto

Primeiro De Agosto drew 1-1 against Etoile Sportive Du Sahel in their CAF Champions League encounter at Estadio 1 de Novembro on Saturday evening.

Resulting from this encounter, the Angolans are now placed at number three with one point from a single match in the group.

As both sides chased for an early goal, the two camps could not break the deadlock despite the hosts’ dominance.

However, Agosto found the back of the net on the stroke of halftime as their efforts were rewarded in front of goal.

They scored through Mongo Boukamba in the 43rd minute to ensure the hosts were ahead heading to the tunnel.

It was 1-0 at the interval.

Upon their return from the tunnel, the hosts pushed to level the matters and put the host under pressure.

Amr Jemal would find the back of the net in the 66th minute as they continued to chase for their second goal.

In the end of the contest, there were no goals in the match as both sides shared the spoils in their opening group stages.

For the visitors, the draw sees them placed at number one on the log table with one point.
