Senegal and Liverpool striker Sadio Mane has expressed delight surrounding reports that the club plans to sign Olympique Lyon skipper Nabil Fekir.
The Reds are reportedly set to swoop on the Algerian attacker during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Mane has welcomed reports linking the English Premier League club with a sensational off-season move for Fekir.
The France-born attacker with Algerian roots has also been strongly linked with Arsenal and FC Barcelona after an impressive season with the Ligue 1.
Reports in French media claimed Jurgen Klopp's side have secured a massive £61.7m deal for the Les Bleus international to reinforce their attacking options for next season.
Although the Liverpool and the player have both rubbished the reports, Mane has commented on the 24-year-old's possible arrival.
"He is a top player, we would be happy seeing him with us. If he comes he'll do great things with us. Yes, it will be like fire if he comes," he told SFR Sport.
Fekir has found the net on 22 occasions coupled with seven assists in 38 games across all competitions this term.
