Nigeria and Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has praised his Foxes’ teammates after their 3-1 win over Arsenal.
The former English Premier League champions bagged a vital win over the Gunners on Wednesday night and the Super Eagles midfielder has hailed his teammates.
Resulting from the win at the King Power Stadium, Claude Puel’s men ended their run of five games without a win in the Premier League.
Ndidi’s international teammate, Kelechi Iheanacho opened scoring for the hosts in the first half with Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez getting the other goals.
“Great performance today, and so happy we got 3 points in the bag..Atmosphere was amazing from my view in the stands 💙 one more to go!!💪🏾,” Ndidi tweeted on his Twitter handle.
The former Genk of Belgium midfielder has missed City’s last two games due to a harmstring injury..
As they plan to wrap up their 2017/8 EPL term on Sunday, Ndidi has featured in 33 league games for Leicester City and has recorded four assists.
