SuperSport United and Baroka FC will both be looking to secure Absa Premiership survival when they meet at Lucas Moripe Stadium on 12 May 2018, kick-off at 15h00.

SuperSport played to a third draw from their last four league matches when they were held 1-1 at Chippa United on April 28. The result left the Tshwane team just two points clear of the relegation playoff zone and in need of a victory to guarantee survival.

Matsatsantsa have claimed 21 points from 14 home matches this season, with their last result as hosts a 3-2 triumph over Free State Stars on April 25.

Baroka played to their 13th draw of the season when they were held 2-2 at home by Bloemfontein Celtic on April 28. The Limpopo side are three points clear of the relegation playoff zone and need only another draw to guarantee survival.

Bakgaga have claimed just 15 points from 14 away matches this season, with their last result on the road a 1-0 loss at Ajax Cape Town on April 24.

In head-to-head stats, SuperSport and Baroka have met in three league matches since the start of last season. Bakgaga are unbeaten in the rivalry, with two wins and a draw thus far. Their second victory over United arrived in Polokwane in December 2017, as they took the league game 3-1.

SuperSport’s line-up from their 1-1 draw with Chippa on April 28: Williams, Kekana, Gould, Daniels, Bhasera, Furman, Mokoena (Letsholonyane 85’), Phala (Nhlapo 77’), Modiba, Mnyamana, Rusike.
