Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson says Ivory Coast winger Wilfried Zaha ‘belongs’ at the club.
The Elephants attacker has garnered much praise for his performances through this season, with speculation that one of the big clubs will prise him away from Selhurst Park in the European summer.
However, Hodgson – speaking ahead of Palace’s final match of the campaign, at home to West Bromwich Albion on Sunday – believes Zaha has a special link with the Eagles and will remain with them for next season.
"This is where he belongs. This is his club and he knows how much we and the fans value him," said Hodgson.
"He knows how much we and the fans value him. I don't blame other clubs for coveting him. He is ours and I still believe he will be when the season begins."
