In their final preparations ahead of the highly anticipated 2018 FIFA World Cup participation, Egypt national team coach Hector Cuper has named six players as reserves.
Cuper has included six players to the Pharaohs’ reserve list ahead of the national team’s final international friendly against Kuwait next week.
The Argentine boss announced a 29-man preliminary squad for Egypt friendlies on Sunday morning, before including six reserves on Monday to round up his 35-man squad.

Egypt will resume their training camp on May 22 and they will face the Kuwaiti national team four days later in Kuwait.
As their final preparatory match, they will face Belgium on June 6 before their appearance at the global tournament.
The reserves included Entag El-Harby keeper Amer Amer, Al Ahly’s Walid Soliman and Hossam Ashour, Assiouty Sport’s Hamada Tolba, Momen Zakaria and Amr Gamal who are on loan at Ahli Jeddah and HJK Helsinki.
According to KingFut, the six players will not travel with the national team, but could be called up in case of injuries.
“The players on the reserve list will not travel with the team. We can include one of them to the squad before our game against Uruguay on June 14,” said team manager Ehab Leheita on Monday.
“Any substitution ahead of the World Cup should be based on medical reasons. In case of injuries, we provide medical reports to FIFA and changes can happen before the team’s first game in the World Cup.”
Meanwhile, the North Africans will jet off to Russia on June 10, just five days before their opening game against Uruguay in Group A.
