Williamsville AC will chase a second successive win in Group C of the CAF Confederation Cup when they face hosts Djoliba at Stade Modibo Keita in Bamako on Wednesday night, kick-off at 21h00 CAT.

The Ivory Coast side opened their campaign with a 1-0 home victory over CARA Brazzaville earlier this month, with Roland Zan Bi’s early strike giving them all three points and a share of the lead with Nigeria’s Enyimba.

The Wasps will hope their solid defence holds up in their first away game of the group, while the likes of Zan Bi, Cheick Nahon and Karidiou Mofosse will offer a potent threat in attack.

Djoliba come into the game at the bottom of the log, having gone down 0-2 away to Enyimba in their opening clash. The Malians were undone by goals from Isiaka Oladuntoye and Soporuchi Dimgba in Calabar.

Djoliba coach Fanyeri Diarra knows the value of taking points at home and will be desperate to see his side come out on top in this clash, especially with a big break until Matchday 3 in July.

The other midweek Group C match sees CARA host Enyimba in Brazzaville earlier on the same day.
