Egypt’s Al Ahly coach Hossam El-Badry says whenever his men take to the field they play to win.
Following the Red Devils’ disappointing home draw against Espérance in their CAF Champions League opener, El-Badry is determined to defeat Kampala Capital City Authority in the second round.
The Egyptian Premier League champions failed to grab a victory in any of their last three official games, but their coach hopes they will find courage to beat the Ugandan outfit.
“They have also been following us. So wait tomorrow on the pitch. I also watched Uganda National team against Egypt (1-0 in Kampala) and have to say Uganda and KCCA football has improved,” said the coach.
“But our main target is to win because we drew our first match.
“I hope for me and my players to have luck with officiating because in the first match things didn’t go our way.”
"What we want is to play good, entertaining football and both sides are capable of that.”
The North African eight time African champions occupy the third spot on the table with one point from their opening encounter at Alexandria last week.
This encounter is scheduled to be staged at Mandela National Stadium on Tuesday at 15:00 (CAT).
