Djoliba are still searching for their first win in the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup after they were held 1-1 by Williamsville in Bamako on Wednesday night.
The result sees the Ivorian club top Group C ahead of CARA Brazzaville and Enyimba, who both have three points after the former defeated the latter earlier in the day. The Malians are bottom of the log with one point.
Djoliba looked on course for their first victory when Mohamed Niapegue Cisse put them ahead in the 58th minute.
Yet Williamsville never gave up hope of a fightback and equalised in the 77th minute when Jean-Francis N’da netted a fine goal.
Both teams had chances to claim all three points in what remained of the game, but ended up settling for a share of the spoils.
The teams will only return to Confederation Cup action in July, with Djoliba hosting CARA in Bamako, while Williamsville will be away to Enyimba in Nigeria.
