Senegal have announced their squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup and Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane headlines the 23-man squad.
Coach Aliou Cisse has included experienced players such as Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly and Mane as they hope to reach the knockout stages.
As skipper, Cisse led the class of 2002 that reached the quarter-finals in the country’s only previous World Cup appearance.
Moreover, the legendary defender will hope to achieve another historic feat this summer as they face the likes of Poland, Japan and Colombia in Group H in Russia.
The Lions of Teranga are up against Poland in their opening match on June 19 at Otkritie Arena in Moscow.
