Egyptian Premier League side club Ismaily SC have appointed Algerian coach Kheireddine Madoui as their new mentor.
The manager succeeds Portuguese manager Pedro Barny and the coastal club has since confirmed the developments.
Madoui launched his coaching career at Algerian side ES Sétif in 2010 and gained prominence when he won the 2015 CAF Champions League and Super Cup.
The 41-year-old then coached Saudi Al-Wehda Club in 2015/16 season and his last experience was with Tunisian side Étoile sportive du Sahel.
“Welcome Kheireddine Madoui, the new Ismaily head coach," said Ismaily in a statement.
The EPL side finished second in the 2017/18 Egyptian Premier League with 68 points, 20 less than winners Ahly.
Earlier this month, Ismaily ended their Egypt Cup bid in the semi-finals after losing 4-1 to eventual winners Zamalek.
Moreover, the 51-year-old (Barny) took over as manager last winter and was the third coach to take charge of Ismaily this past season.
He succeeded Abou-Taleb El-Essawi who took over after the departure of Frenchman Sebastien Desabre.
