Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says Mohamed Salah is fully focusing on doing well for the Reds in the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday night.
The 50-year-old manager believes believes the Egyptian forward is not bothered by his religion, with Muslims observing fasting as part of Ramadan.
Reports emerged over the past few weeks on the effect of fasting that could have on Salah’s physical condition in the upcoming game against Real Madrid.
However, Klopp said Salah is ready for the highly anticipated clash and is full of power.
The Reds’ boss also spoke about Salah’s chances of winning the 2018 Ballon d’Or after the 25-year-old was compared by many pundits to the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
“Religion is private but all is fine. He’s full of power,” said Klopp.
“Messi and Ronaldo deserve their praise and all the things they’ve won. For years they were on that level and now are 30-something but still on that level.
“If Mo can do that, we will see. He has fantastic potential. There is one more game to go but the season was outstanding. The next few seasons will show if he can do something similar.
“These two [Messi and Ronaldo] are the most consistent players on the highest level in the last 10 years, maybe longer – 12 or 13 years.
“That makes them really special. Mo had a good start and we will see what will happen in the next few years.”
