According to Ramadan Sobhi’s agent, Nader Shawky, the Egyptian player is set to stay in the English Premier League.
Shawky was speaking to a local radio station saying that the Stoke City player has received several offers and is certain of staying in England’s top tier.
The agent said to Mega FM that Sobhi has received offers from EPL sides as well as discussing the player’s future including a possible return to Al Ahly.
The 21-year-old winger was relegated with the Potters to the English Championship after finishing 19th in the league with 33 points, two behind Ali Gabr and Ahmed Hegazi’s last place West Bromwich Albion.
”Ramadan is close from staying in the Premier League and there are offers to the player from league clubs,” he said.
”In case he didn’t stay in England, the player will move to another club in Spain, Italy or Germany but it won’t be possible for him to move to the Swiss or Turkish league on loan.”
The agent added that the player will decide his future before the beginning of the 2018 FIFA World Cup because waiting could be risky.
”Indeed there were contact with Al Sheikh, but Ramadan prefers to continue in Europe. Although the player was offered to be paid in English pounds at the Red Castle but we aren’t looking for money,” added Shawky.
“He will return to Al Ahly only if he feels that he will receive game time to regain his confidence.
“He is still young and is still learning but the fans are rushing and should be patient.”
