South African international striker Luther Singh says he is honoured to be in the Bafana Bafana squad.
The youngster has been included in the team, saying he is hoping to do well in the 2018 COSAFA Cup tournament in Limpopo.
The hosts will face Madagascar on Sunday after the Barea topped Group B with a win over Comoros on Thursday evening.
Singh is hoping to take his amazing exploits at the COSAFA U20 Championships into the senior competition this year.
The Sporting Braga forward was top-scorer at the 2016 COSAFA U20 Championships when he netted five goals, as Amajita finished as runners-up to Zambia.
He is now hoping to add to his single senior national team cap earned against Angola in March 2017 when Bafana compete in the quarter-finals of the regional tournament on Sunday at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
“It’s an honour to be back in the national team again,” he said.
“It has been a while because of the talent we have in this country, so you will never know who will be called up to Bafana Bafana.
"There have been good players called up not because they are liked but because they are talented.
“I was just working hard as I also love representing my country and we know that not everyone can get a call up.
“”I have been improving myself to be a better person, a better player and I knew the opportunity would come again. It was just a matter of time, I just had to be patient.”
