English Premier League club Huddersfield and relegated West Bromwich Albion are reportedly fighting for Mali and Troyes defender Charles Traore.

Following Troyes' relegation from the French Ligue 1 last season, Traore is expected to leave the club this summer.

Moreover, he has two English clubs keen on securing his services and according to French sports daily L'Equipe, the two clubs are Huddersfield and West Brom.

Huddersfield will again have Premier League football next season after surviving in the top flight.

However, a move to West Brom would see Traore turning out in the English Championship.

The West African defender broke through into senior football with Troyes after spending time in the youth ranks at Nantes.

Although he was born in France, Traore opted to play international football for Mali and has won three caps for the African country.
