Egypt and Al Ahly striker Salah Mohsen has expressed disappointment after he was left out of the 2018 FIFA World Cup squad.
The Red Devils forward has expressed his disappointment at being overlooked for Egypt’s selection by coach Hector Cuper.
Mohsen has been on fire for the U-23 national team, scoring three goals in their last three games against Tunisia and Algeria.

However, he didn’t have the best of seasons with Al Ahly despite joining them in the January transfer window for a record fee, as he managed to score only twice in seven league games.
“I had hoped that I would be selected until the very last match, but it’s God’s will for me to focus with the Olympic team,” he said to Al Ahly TV.
Meanwhile, the 19-year-old has also sent a message to Al Ahly fans, promising them that they will do their best to win the CAF Champions League.
”We will do our best to achieve more trophies next season as well as winning the CAF Champions League,” Mohsen added.
