Egypt and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah says Sergio Ramos sent him a message, but that doesn’t mean he is okay.

The Real Madrid defender injured Salah in their UEFA Champions League final three weeks ago and the injury has threatened his participation at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

According to Salah’s sentiments, it looks like he has not buried the hatchet with Ramos following their tangle in the Champions League final.

The shoulder injury forced the Liverpool player to be taken off and left him in a race to be fit in time to play for the Pharaohs in the World Cup.

"He sent me a message, but I never told him it was 'OK'," said Salah, who arrived in Russia on Sunday.

"My comment is that it's always OK when the one who made you cry first, then makes you laugh. Maybe he could also tell me if I'm going to be ready for the World Cup?"

Salah remains uncertain if he will play in Egypt's opening Group A clash with Uruguay on Friday, June 15.
