Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan has bemoaned the state of Ghanaian football.
Earlier this month, Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Committee endorsed the Resolution of the Ghana League Clubs Association to suspend all football related activities in Ghana until the Economic and Organised Crime Office completes its investigations into activities of the GFA.
This has disturbed the Ghanaian Premier League as it is unclear when the second half of the 2018 season will resume.
"We really miss the league. On the part of Kotoko, we were getting back to our form and the team was taking shape before the break of the league," Annan told Virgin FM at Konongo.
"It is very worrisome but we've been discussing it among ourselves. We feel things would have gone well for us should the league was going on."
"We just hope and pray everything settles down for us to return to our game," he desperately said.
Kotoko are currently placed fourth on the Premier League standings - three points behind log leaders Medeama SC.
They are the most successful Ghanaian club having won 24 league titles.
The last time they won the trophy was in 2014.
