Algerian international striker Hilal Soudani has officially signed for English Championship side Nottingham Forest from Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb.

Soudani has spent the previous five years at Zagreb, as he joined the Croatian side from Vitoria Guimaraes of Portugal back in the summer of 2013.

The 30-year-old striker has featured in 28 games in the Croatian Premier League this past season for Dinamo and scored 17 goals whilst registering nine assists.

Soudani hit a total of 86 goals during his time in Zagreb and also gained plenty of experience in European football in both the UEFA Champions League and Europa League.

“All players in the world dream to play in England and I must thank Nottingham Forest for making that dream come true,” Soudani gave his first impression after joining Nottingham.

"The forward, who has also scored 21 goals in 41 caps for Algeria, joins Aitor Karanka’s side ahead of the new season and will sign a three-year deal from 1st July,” Nottingham’s statement read.
