Zambian Super League giants Nkana FC have signed Kenyan defender Musa Mohammed on a two-year deal.

The Harambee Stars defender has completed his switch to the Super League side on a free transfer after terminating his contract with Albania side KF Tirana in April.

According to Soka25East, the 25-year-old recently skippered the national team in the Hero International Cup where they finished runners-up to hosts India.

Before leaving for greener pastures in Albania early this year, Musa had spent his entire senior career with Kenya’s Gor Mahia, where he won four KPL titles among other numerous titles.

Nicknamed Carnavaro after Italy’s 2006 World Cup winning defender, Musa becomes the ninth Kenyan player to ply his trade in the Zambian top flight and second to sign for the Reds after striker Jacob Kelly.
