Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah will form part of their pre-season trip to the United States of America.
The Reds boss has confirmed that Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Marko Grujic will travel with the club for their USA pre-season tour.
The trio was on international duty at the 2018 FIFA World Cup with Egypt, Senegal and Serbia respectively, however, the three countries were eliminated from the group stages.
“That’s the start for them. They had their holiday and then they’ll come with us to the USA. They only had three weeks’ holiday so it means they didn’t lose too much,” Klopp said when asked about the trio.
“We have to see how they present and then we’ll see if they can play in the games. They will be there. And then the last group [of World Cup players] comes much later.”
It is reported that Liverpool will take part in the International Cup this summer, where they will come up against the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City and Manchester United.
Klopp’s men will also face Bury and Blackburn Rovers on July 14 and 19 before heading out to the International Champions Cup.
