Latest information surrounding the future of Ghana and Swansea City forward, Andrew Ayew is that Besiktas have showed an interest in signing him.
According to reports, the Turkish giants are set to sign the Ghanaian international but Newcastle United are reportedly planning a late move according to sources close to the club.
The Swans are on the verge of losing the attacker following their relegation from the English Premier League last season.
Although Fenerbahce have also reportedly shown an interest, Besiktas are said to be in pole position to secure the former Olympique Marseille man's signature.
The Turkish side are keen to take Ayew on a season-long loan deal with a view to a permanent deal and they are in talks with Swansea.
According to Football Ghana, Swansea are open to the idea of loaning or selling Ayew for the right price as they look to trim their wage bill in the wake of relegation to the English Championship.
However, United manager Raphael Benitez is also weighing up a move for Ayew with the Magpies planning to bolster their attacking options.
Ayew rejoined Swansea in January, signing a three-and-a-half year deal for a club record £18m fee from West Ham United, but could not help the Swans escape relegation to the Championship.
