Djoliba Athletic Club are chasing their first win in their CAF Confederation Cup campaign as they welcome Carra Brazzaville on Wednesday.
The match will be staged at 21:00 (CAT) at the Stade Omnisports Modibo Keïta in Bamako.
The Malian side opened their Group C assignments with a 2-0 loss at the hands of Nigeria’s Enyimba International.
As they were hoping to bounce back against Williamsville, they could not find enough goals as they drew 1-1 at home.
On the log table, they sit at the bottom with a point and will have to bag a win to revive their hopes of reaching the knockout stages.
On the other hand, the visitors are looking for their second win after opening with a loss and a win so far.
They lost to Williamsville, but managed to secure the full three points in their clash against Enyimba back in May.
Sitting at number two with three points in the group puts them in contention of making it to the next stage, but they must bag a win on Wednesday to move to six points.
Moreover, the two clubs will cross their paths for the first time on match day and both sides are expected to score goals as they challenge for a spot in the next stage.
