Media reports in East Africa suggest that former Bloemfontein Celtic goalkeeper Posnett Omony has landed a job in the Lesotho Premier League.
The former Cranes and Sports Club Villa goalkeeper has been appointed as the assistant coach at Bantu Football Club, a top flight side in the Lesotho Premier League.
Omony was employed by South African Premier Soccer League side Chippa United as goalkeeper coach, but has reportedly ditched the Chilli Boys.
The 36-year-old experienced shot-stopper turned trainer has been the goalkeeping tactician at Chippa since last year where he had joined from Mthatha Bucks Football Club.
According to KawowoSports, the former net minder started his career at Tooro before he was spotted by Police Football Club.
He then moved to Sports Club Villa Jogoo, switching allegiance to South Africa where he kept goal for several Absa Premiership clubs including Siwelele and Black Leopards among others.
In 2016, Omony completed a coaching certificate organised by the South African Football Association (SAFA).
