Mamelodi Sundowns striker Jeremy Brockie says he is ready to face AS Togo-Port as he looks to find he back of net for the hosts.
The Brazilians are looking for their first win in the CAF Champions League as they now meet the Togolese side on Friday night.
Coach Pitso Mosimane’s men opened their Group C assignments with two draws and a loss to their visitors last week away in Togo.
Moreover, the New Zealander netted his first goal for the Tshwane side last weekend against Kaizer Chiefs in a friendly, but wants more goals.
“I feel that’s a start of a good season ahead. To do it in front of 50 000-odd fans at FNB Stadium and lift a trophy at the end of it was special," he said.
“The coach spoke about changing the team for the Chiefs game from the one that played in Togo and that it was up to us to put our hands up, take the opportunity and get our names on his mind when it comes to the game against AS Togo-Port.
“Hopefully I did that. I feel like now that the first one has hit the back of the net they’ll start coming.”
The fourth Group C encounter will be staged at the Lucas Moripe Stadium and gets underway at 21:00 (CAT).
