MC Alger are gunning for their second win as they host TP Mazembe in their return match of their CAF Champions League, Group B match on Saturday night.
The encounter will be staged at the Stade du 5 Julliet at 21:00 (CAT).
The Algerians suffered a 1-0 defeat against the Ravens last week and will now challenge to secure the full three points at home.
Alger sit at number two in the group and their aim is to cement their spot because dropping points will hurt their mission of making it to the next stage.
They have four points at number two from a win over ES Setif and a draw to Difaa El Jadida. They have a single loss so far to the Ravens, but are touted as favourites to get a win at home.
However, against a strong Mazembe side, they must ensure they are disciplined at the back as they have ES Setif looking to unseat them at number two.
Shifting focus to the visitors, the reigning CAF Confederation Cup champions are in high spirits as they lead the log table.
They have nine points at the summit from three wins in their campaign so far and will be gunning for their fourth win in a row to cement their qualification spot into the knockout stages.
Mazembe have defeated Setif, Difaa and Alger, but coach Kazembe Mihayo will hope to see Meschak Elia scoring a vital goal once more against the North Africans.
