Moroccan club RSB Berkane have officially welcomed Alain Traore to the club after he successfully passed his medical tests.

The 29-year-old links up with fellow Burkinabe, Issoufou Dayo, in Berkane following a short spell in Qatar at Al Markhiya Sports Club who he joined from Turkish outfit Kayserispor in July of last year.

Traore has been a journeyman over the past few years following a 11 year stay in France where he turned out in the colours of Auxerre, Lorient, Stade Brest and briefly AS Monaco.

In total, Traore has racked up 55 appearances for the Burkina Faso Stallions, finding the back of the net on 21 occasions. He has represented his country at four Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.

Alain is the older brother of former Chelsea and Ajax Amsterdam attacker Bertrand Traore who is currently plying his trade for Lyon.
