Kaizer Chiefs head coach Giovanni Solinas will already be feeling the pressure ahead of his teams MTN8 clash against his former employers ,Free State Stars, this coming weekend.

This following the club's 3-1 defeat to Bidvest Wits in round two of the 2018-19 Absa Premiership season on Tuesday evening.

The Amakhosi scored early against Mamelodi Sundowns over the past weekend in a 1-1 draw and looked dangerous in attack once more, but their frailties in defence were exposed by a rampant Clever Boys unit in Soweto.

“We conceded three goals. We lost the shape. We have to learn from this game. It’s a lesson for us,” Solinas told SuperSport TV following the match.

“We started well but we conceded the big space behind the defenders. Bidvest Wits exploited this space. This is the game. We need to improve in converting the chances and in defence. We created chances, but we didn’t convert them.

He continued: "Wits were very clinical. They had three chances and three goals. We need more determination into the box. We need to improve in the tactical situations.

“The team needs a lot of training sessions because they need to learn the movement, but we play every two or three days.

"We don’t have time for training. So we focus on things in the next game because we need a win in the next game.”

The Italian will be counting on his troops to bounce back to winning ways this Saturday, with pressure already mounting as patience continues to wear thin at Naturena.
