Go Round FC will be ready when the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) resumes its indefinite suspension, according to the club’s coach, Ngozi Elechi.
Speaking on NPFL's official wesbite, Elechi stated that he feels his team have shown enough guts in warm-up games ahead of the restart of the season.
Go Round FC played what may be their last friendly game on Saturday at the KrisDera Hotel Stadium in Omoku, beating FC Ifeanyiubah 1-0.
Stanley Worlu got the goal in the 39th minute of the encounter and Ngozi Elechi was excited after the game.
“We are ready. In most of the friendly matches we have played this season, the boys did very well and have given us hope that when we restart the league at home to Katsina United we will win," Elechi told the NPFL website.
“Some of the players we recruited like Bala (Oloyade) from the left full back played very well,” Elechi said.
“We are happy because it is one of our build-up games for the restart of the league and we all gave good accounts of ourselves including our opponents, FC Ifeanyiubah.
“The turnout was also okay,” Elechi said.
Go Round FC beat Lobi Stars 1-0 on June 10 before the league went on break and are currently 16th on the log.
