Algeria international Islam Slimani is set to join Turkish club Fenerbahce on a season long loan deal from Leicester City.
The 30-year-old, who spent the second half of last season on-loan at Newcastle United for whom he made a mere four appearances, has struggled to break into the Foxes starting eleven.
Slimani moved to the King Power Stadium from Sporting Club de Portugal in 2016, having found the back of the net on 57 occasions in 111 appearances for the club.
Sporting are said to be keen on welcoming Slimani back with Besiktas also said to have been in the running for his signature. According to reports, Fenerbahce, though, looks set to be his most likely destination.
The English Premier League transfer window shut close on Thursday, but players are still able to move out on loan to club's outside the country's top division.
Slimani has scored 13 goals in 46 games for Leicester across all competitions.
