Young Africans will lock horns with Union sportive (USM) de la médina d'Alger in the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup Group D match at the National Stadium in Tanzania on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 18h00 CAT.

The Tanzanian side lost 3-2 to Kenyan champions Gor Mahia at home in their previous Group D game late last month.

Young Africans are placed fourth on the group standings having collected only one point from four matches. They are seven points behind second-placed Alger.

Yanga have already been eliminated having recorded three defeats and one draw in the group stage.

Deus Kaseke and Raphael Loth are Yanga’s key players and the duo players will be keen to help their side record their first win.

Meanwhile, Alger drew 1-1 with Rwandan side Rayon Sports at home in their previous Group D match over two weeks ago.

The Algerian side are placed second on the group standings having accumulated eight points from four matches.

Group leaders Gor Mahia have also collected eight points with two matches left in the group stage.

Mohamed Hamia and Farouk Chafai have both scored in the group stage for Alger and they will be keen to help their team win in Tanzania.

Namibian referee Jackson Pavaza is set to officiate the game between Young Africans and Alger.
