18h00 - We conclude our coverage for this evening with news that Sadio Mane, Naby Keita and Mohamed Salah start for Liverpool at home to Brighton & Hove Albion, who have Leon Balogun, Yves Bissouma and Gaetan Bong in their XI. The final Premier League match of the day kicks off at 18h30.


17h55 - Full time in the Premier League's afternoon matches. Alex Iwobi's Arsenal won 3-1 at home to West Ham, Idrissa Gueye's Everton gave away a two goal-lead to draw 2-2 at Bournemouth, Wilfred Ndidi's Leicester won 2-1 at Southampton, and Steve Mounie's Huddersfield were held 0-0 at home by Cardiff City.


17h50 - The early games in Italy and Spain get underway at 18h00 and 18h15 respectively. Juventus have Mehdi Benatia on the bench as they take on Lazio in the former, while Mubarak Wakaso starts for Alaves at home to Real Betis, who have Zouhair Feddal and Aissa Mandi in their XI.


17h45 - Bournemouth have fought back two goals down to be drawing 2-2 with Everton, and Paris Saint-Germain are being held 1-1 at home by Ismael Traore's Angers in France.


17h35 - Arsenal go 2-1 up at home to West Ham, thanks to an own goal from Issa Diop. Idrissa Gueye's Everton are now 2-1 up away to Bournemouth.


17h30 - Full time in the Bundesliga's afternoon matches, where Baba Rahman's Schalke were beaten 2-1 at Wolfsburg, Ihlas Bebou's Hannover drew 1-1 at  Werder Bremen, Salomon Kalou's Hertha Berlin won 1-0 at home to Nurnberg, Augsburg beat Dusseldorf 2-1 and Frankfurt won 2-0 at Freiburg.


17h25 - Thomas Mangani has scored to make it 1-1 between Ismael Traore's Angers and PSG in Ligue 1.


17h20 - Nabil Bentaleb has scored for Schalke to draw them level at 1-1 away to Wolfsburg, Idrissa Gueye's Everton have gone 1-0 up away to Bournemouth despite being down to 10 men, and Wilfred Ndidi's Leicester have equalised away to Southampton to make it 1-1.


17h15 - Ryan Bertrand has put Mario Lemina's Southampton 1-0 up at home to Leicester City, and Edinson Cavani has scored to put PSG 1-0 up against Ismael Traore's Angers.


17h10 - Ihlas Bebou's Hannover have claimed a 1-0 lead away to Werder Bremen.


17h05 - Into the final quarter hour of regulation time in the Bundesliga's afternoon matches, where Baba Rahman's Schalke are trying to fight back from being 1-0 down away to Wolfsburg.


16h50 - Half time in the Premier League matches, the 1-1 between Arsenal and West Ham is the only clash to feature any goals. Idrissa Gueye's Everton are down to 10 men away to Bournemouth following the dismissal of Richarlison.


16h45 - Coming up in 15 minutes we have the first Ligue 1 match of the day, which sees Paris Saint-Germain play host to Angers. The visitors feature Cheikh N'Doye and Ismael Traore in their starting XI.


16h35 - West Ham's lead didn't last long, with Alex Iwobi's Arsenal back on level terms at 1-1 after a strike from Nacho Monreal.


16h30 - We have our first goal in the Premier League's afternoon games, with Marko Arnautovic putting Arthur Masuaku's West Ham United 1-0 up away to the Gunners.


16h25 - Alex Iwobi's Arsenal still being held 0-0 by West Ham United. In fact, all four Premier League matches are goalless as we pass the midway point of the first half.


16h15 - Half time in the Bundesliga matches, here are the scores thus far: Dusseldorf 1-0 Augsburg, Freiburg 0-1 Frankfurt, Berlin 1-0 Nurnberg, Bremen 0-0 Hannover and Wolfsburg 1-0 Schalke.


16h05 - Baba Rahman's Schalke have gone a goal down away to Wolfsburg.


16h00 - Underway in the Premier League's afternoon games, while Salomon Kalou's Hertha Berlin lead Nurnberg 1-0 thanks to a goal from Vedad Ibisevic.


15h50 - Finally, Southampton v Leicester sees a West African battle in midfield between Gabon's Mario Lemina and Nigerian Wilfred Ndidi. The visiting Foxes team also features Kelechi Iheanacho upfront and Daniel Amartey in defence.


15h45 - Bournemouth v Everton sees Idrissa Gueye start for the latter, while Huddersfield Town have Steve Mounie upfront for their home clash with a Cardiff City team featuring Sol Bamba and Bruno Ecuele in defence.


15h40 - Coming up in 20 minutes we'll have four Premier League matches, including Arsenal at home to West Ham United in a London derby. The Gunners have Alex Iwobi and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in their attack, while the Hammers feature Arthur Masuaku in defence.


15h30 - We begin today's ASW with news of the early Premier League match, which saw Wolverhampton Wanderers hold Manchester City 1-1 at Molineux, with Riyad Mahrez appearing as a late substitute for the English champions.


Kicking off at this hour we have five Bundesliga matches. There are no African starters for Dusseldorf v Augsburg and Freiburg v Eintracht Frankfurt, but Salomon Kalou starts for Hertha Berlin at home to Nurnberg, who have Edgar Salli in their XI, Ihlas Bebou features for Hannover away to Werder Bremen and Schalke start Baba Rahman, Salif Sane and Amine Harit away to Wolfsburg.
