Eight-time champions Al Ahly will be out to secure their spot atop Group A when they play host to Kampala Capital City Authority FC in a 2018 CAF Champions League clash at the Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria on Tuesday evening.
Kick-off is at 21h00 CAT.
The Red Devils, who have enjoyed a significant upturn in results since the arrival of Patrice Carteron, have already booked their place in the quarterfinals, but need to win against KCCA if they are to secure top spot.
Al Ahly were held to a goalless draw by Espérance de Tunis in the opening round of the group stages, before suffering a surprise 2-0 defeat in Kira that left the Egyptian club reeling at the wrong end of the standings.
But successive victories over Township Rollers, home and away, was followed by a 1-0 win in Rades last time out as Al Ahly successfully bounced back into form and into the quarterfinals of Africa's premier club competition.
KCCA will be fighting for nothing but pride in Egypt after they failed to build on their impressive win over the same opponents back in May. A double over the African giants, though, will be regarded as morale boost for the Ugandan outfit even if progress to the next round is impossible.
The Kasasiro Boys beat Township Rollers 1-0 last time out for their second win of the campaign and will be eyeing a third in Alexandria. KCCA are yet to accumulate a point on their travels having lost 1-0 in Gaborone and 3-2 in Tunisia.
Moroccan referee Rédouane Jiyed will take charge of the clash.
