Togo-Port look to end Wydad's unbeaten run

AS Togo-Port will welcome Wydad Casablanca in the 2018 CAF Champions League Group C match at the Stade Municipal in Togo on Tuesday.

Kick-off is at 18:00 CAT.

Togo-Port succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Guinean outfit Horoya AC away in their previous Group C game over a week ago.

As a result, the Togolese club is placed fourth place on the Group C table with three points from five matches. They are five points behind second-placed Horoya.

They have already been eliminated from Africa's most prestigious club competition.

Togo-Port have registered three wins and one defeat at home in this year's Champions League.

Meanwhile, Wydad secured a 1-0 victory over Sundowns at home in their previous Group C game over a week ago.

As a result, the Moroccan giants are placed at the top of Group C standings having collected 11 points from five games. They are three points ahead of second-placed Horoya.

They will be desperate for a victory against Togo-Port which will them win their group.

Swallows are winless in this year's Champions League having registered two draws and one defeat.

Match referee Hélder Martins de Carvalho, who hails from Angola, will officiate the game between Togo-Port and Wydad.

Wydad thrashed Togo-Port 3-0 in a Group C game in Morocco last May.
