ASEC Mimosas need to beat AS Vita at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Abidjan on Wednesday evening, and hope for a favourable result elsewhere, if they are to advance into the knockout stages of the 2018 CAF Confederations Cup.
Kick-off is at 20h00 CAT.
The Ivorian club currently occupy third spot in Group A, two points behind Raja Casablanca and four off their midweek opponents who have already booked their place in the quarterfinals.
ASEC need to beat Vita and hope that Raja suffer what would be a surprise defeat at home to already eliminated Aduana Stars in Morocco, if they are to advance into the next round.
The hosts head into the clash on the back of a 2-0 win over Aduana in Ghana with victory having ended a three-game losing streak in the competition for the 1998 CAF Champions League winners.
ASEC lost home and away to Raja and also suffered a 3-1 defeat to Vita in Kinshasa in the reverse fixture despite taking an early lead.
The Black Dolphins head to Abidjan eager to keep hold of top spot, which would guarantee a favourable draw in the quarterfinals. Vita won their last two games 2-0 with victory over Raja last time out having secured their spot in the next round.
Referee Mustapha Ghorbal of Algeria will take charge of the clash.
