17h15 - That is it for our African Stars Watch coverage for today. Besides the on-going English Premier League action, there is plenty of football to look forward to later this evening in the Italian Serie A, Spanish La Liga, French Ligue 1 and German Bundesliga.

16h55 - The French Ligue 1 clash between St Etienne and Amiens ended in a goalless draw. Good point on the road for Bongani Zungu and his troops.

16h40 - Eric Bailly (Ivory Coast) is on the bench for Manchester United who are away to Burnley in the English Premier League this afternoon. Must win game for the Reds following their heavy defeat to Spurs earlier this week.

16h25 - Full-Time in Cardiff where Arsenal secured a second successive win in the English Premier League. Pierre Emerick Aubameyang on target in a 3-2 win for the Gunners.

16h10 - Isaac Success (Nigeria) and Victor Wanyama (Kenya) are on the bench for Watford and Tottenham Hotspur respectively. No Serge Aurier (Ivory Coast) for Spurs today.

15h55 - Aubameyang has finally broken his duck. The Gabon international with a crisp finish to make it 2-1 to Arsenal. The goal is the forward's first of the season.

15h45 - Ajax Amsterdam have increased their lead. Hakim Ziyech tees up Klaas-Jan Huntelaar to make it 4-0. Terrible day at the office for Thulani Serero's Vitesse thus far.

15h30 - Hakim Ziyech (Morocco) opened the scoring for Ajax Amsterdam who are 3-0 up at Vitesse at half-time in the Dutch Eredivisie.

15h20 - Level at the break in the clash between Arsenal and Cardiff City. The Bluebirds with a late strike to make it 1-1 at the interval in the English Premier League clash.

15h05 - Earlier, Ghanaian duo Emmanuel Boateng and Raphael Dwamena were involved for Levante in a 2-2 draw against Valencia in the Spanish La Liga. Simon Moses (Nigeria) played no part duo to injury.

14h55 - Noussair Mazraoui , Hakim Ziyech (both Morocco) and Andre Onana (Cameroon) are involved from the onset for Ajax Amsterdam who are away to Thulani Serero's (South Africa) Vitesse in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Ajax have raced into an early 3-0 lead with Ziyech bagging the opener.

14h40 - Wahbi Khazri (Tunisia) and Bongani Zungu (South Africa) will go head-to-head in the French Ligue 1 this afternoon as St Etienne play host to Amiens. Moussa Konate (Senegal) also involved from the onset for Amiens who have four African's in their starting 11.

14h30 - Alex Iwobi (Nigeria) is ill and will play part no part in today's clash for the Gunners in Wales.

14h25 - Bruno Ecuele Manga (Gabon) will be aiming to stop fellow countryman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Cardiff Stadium. The Bluebirds play host to Arsenal in today's first of three English Premier League games.
