Mauritania will battle with Burkina Faso in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification Group I match on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 19h00 CAT.

The game is scheduled to take place at the Stade Olympique in Nouakchott, Mauritania.

Al-Murabitun secured a 1-0 win over Botswana away in their first game in their Group I campaign in June, 2017.

As a result, Mauritania are placed second on group standings with three points from one game.

They beat Guinea 1-0 in their last game which was an international friendly match at home six months ago.

Mauritania head coach Corentin Martins will be looking to guide his side to victory at home.

Meanwhile, Burkina Faso thrashed Angola 3-1 in their maiden game in Group I at home in June, 2017.

The win took the Stallions to the top of group standings with three points from one match.

They beat Cameroon 1-0 in their last match which was an international friendly game four months ago.

Burkina Faso head coach Paulo Duarte will be eager to guide his side to victory over Mauritania away.

Rwandan referee Louis Hakizimana will be in charge of the game between Mauritania and Burkina Faso.
