Al Masry and USM Alger will lock horns in a first-leg 2018 CAF Confederations Cup quarterfinal clash at the Al-Masry Club Stadium in Port Said on Sunday evening.

Kick-off is at 21h00 CAT.

The Egyptian club booked their place in the knockout stages with an unbeaten record in six group stage matches. But despite their unblemished record, the Green Eagles finished a point behind Group B winners RS Berkane.

Al Masry recorded three wins and three draws in their allotted matches.

Hossam Hassan's troops won all three of their home matches in the group stages, beating UD Songo (2-0), RS Berkane (1-0) and Al Hilal (2-0) with victory over the Sudanese club their most recent CAFCC encounter.

USM Alger advanced into the quarterfinals after topping a competitive Group D that included Rayon Sports, Gor Mahia and Young Africans as they set their sights on a maiden continental crown.

The 2015 CAF Champions League runners-up boast a record of one win, one draw and one defeat in their three away matches thus far.

The Reds and Blacks will host the reverse fixture in Sétif, Algeria next Sunday 23 September.

Senegalese referee Maguette N'Diaye will take charge of the clash.
