According to, Al Ahly will try and re-sign Huddersfield Town winger Ramadan Sobhi on-loan in January.

Al Ahly Director of Football, Mohamed Youssef, has reportedly revealed that the Egyptian giants are looking into the possibility of bringing Sobhi back to Cairo next year.

The 21-year-old, who rose to prominence in his time at Al Ahly before a £5 million move to Stoke City two years ago, is currently recovering from a knee injury that has kept him out of action for most of the season.

Sobhi joined Huddersfield from relegated Stoke in June, but is only managed one appearance for in the English Premier League club this season.

The Pharaohs winger won two Egyptian Premier League titles and the 2014 Caf Confederations Cup with the Red Devils before his move to England. Sobhi scored three times in 46 games for the Potters before his switch to the Terriers.

Sobhi has scored one goal in 28 appearances for Egypt since making his debut three years ago, and was part of the 2018 FIFA World Cup squad in Russia.
