Egypt's Zamalek announce squad for Arab Club Champions Cup clash

Egyptian giants Zamalek have announced the squad which will take on Kuwaiti side Qadsia in the 2018/19 Arab Club Champions Cup match on Friday.

The round of 32 first-leg encounter between the two teams ended in a goalless draw at the Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria, Egypt last month.

Zamalek head coach Christian Gross has since revealed the club’s squad that will face Qadsia SC in the second-leg match.

The game will be played at the Jaber International Stadium in Kuwait City.

This year's tournament is also known as the Zayed Club Champions Cup in honour of the late Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

It is also the 28th season (not including 1990) of the Arab World's inter-club football tournament organised by Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA).

Zamalek full squad

Goalkeepers: Mahmoud Gennesh, Emad El-Sayed, Omar Salah.

Defenders: Mahmoud Alaa, Mohamed Abdel-Ghany, Bahaa Magdy, Hamdy Nagguez, Mahmoud Hamdy ‘El-Wensh’, Ahmed Aboul-Fotouh.

Midfielders: Mahmoud Kahraba, Tarek Hamed, Ferjani Sassi, Hamid Ahadad, Ibrahim Hassan, Mohamed Ibrahim, Abdallah Gomaa, Mohamed Antar, Youssef Obama, Ahmed Madbouly, Mahmoud Dunga.

Strikers: Kabongo Kasongo, Omar El-Said.
