Enyimba International head coach Usman Abdallah says they are not resting on their oars after reaching the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals.
The Aba Warriors booked their place in the last four after defeating Rwandan side Rayon Sports 5-1 on aggregate last weekend.
Enyimba, who have seven Nigeria Professional Football League titles, reached the semi-finals of the Confederation Cup for the first time in the club's history.
“I am a happy coach because this is the first time Enyimba have achieved such a big scoreline in the continent," Abdallah said Daily Trust.
“It is good to be part of history that is positive. We worked for the result so it didn’t come to me as a surprise.
The Aba Warriors, who have won the CAF Champions League title twice, drew 0-0 with Rayon away in Kigali, before winning 5-1 at home.
"After our first leg, we returned home to study our opponents’ defensive formation and we were able to come up with a superior strategy to break them down in the return leg," he continued.
“I commend my players for a job well done. However, we are not going to rest on our oars. There are still many hurdles to surmount before we celebrate."
They will now meet RAJA Club Athletic of Morocco in the first leg of their semi-final pairing on October 2 in Aba, Nigeria.
