Former DR Congo youth international Aaron Wan-Bissaka has won the ManBetX Player of the Month award for the second time this season.
This is after the 20-year-old defender received the highest percentage of the fans vote on Crystal Palace's official website for September 2018.
Wan-Bissaka has been in good form for Palace in the English Premier League (EPL) this season.
Palace released the following statement:
"It was a closely contested poll as just a small number of votes separated the top three in a month which has seen the 20-year-old play in three Premier League games and he came on as a sub during Tuesday’s Carabao Cup victory at West Bromwich Albion."
"Aaron was part of a back four which picked up three clean sheets in the month and we congratulate on him collecting the award once again. Wan-Bissaka spoke to cpfc.co.uk just after receiving the award and wanted to express his thanks to all those that had voted for him," a club statement read.
Wan-Bissaka, who is a right-back by trade, expressed his delight at receiving the monthly accolade.
"I am really pleased to be collecting this award for the second month of the season and it is always nice to be recongnised by the fans who watch the games each week, giving us such great support. "I would like to say a big thank you to all those that put their vote next to my name this month," Wan-Bissaa said.
