Black Leopards and Baroka FC will tussle in an Absa Premiership Limpopo derby at the Thohoyandou Stadium on 3 October 2018, kick-off at 19h30.

Leopards come into the clash on the back of three straight losses in the league, with their most recent outing a 4-0 defeat away to SuperSport United on September 23. Since winning on the opening weekend of the season, the Limpopo side has picked up just two points from a possible 15.

Lidoda Duvha’s home record has seen them claim three points from as many matches, with a win over Polokwane City and defeats to both Orlando Pirates and Bloemfontein Celtic.

Baroka have gone six league matches without a win after they were held 0-0 at home by Free State Stars on September 26. The Polokwane-based side has not won since the second round of the 2018/19 season back in August.

Bakgaga have suffered three defeats from as many away matches so far this season, losing at AmaZulu, Polokwane City and Chippa United.

In head-to-head terms, this will be the first top-flight league meeting of Leopards and Baroka. However, they have clashed in the National First Division, cup competitions and the promotion playoffs last year – their most recent meeting saw Baroka win 2-1 at home in mid-June 2017.

Leopards’ line-up from their 4-0 loss to SuperSport on September 23: K.Ndlovu, Munyai, Masia, Sibanda, Zulu, Nange, Mokoena (Hlongwane 61'), Nene, Khutlang (Mhlongo 43'), T.Ndlovu (Nevhulamba 87'), Kapinga.

Baroka’s line-up from their 0-0 draw with Stars on September 26: Chipezeze, Kgoetyane, Mabeba, Banda, Makume, Mdatsane (Dickens 79’), Mosele, Chivaviro (Moseki 63’), Kgaswane, Makgantai, Makgaka (Patjie 90+2’).
