Nigeria’s Bryan Idowu was on the losing side of things as his Lokomotiv Moscow side lost 1-0 to Schalke in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.
The loss is Moscow’s second loss in as many games in the competition and sees them placed at the bottom of Group D.
Schalke, on the other hand, had two Africans in their starting line-up with both Morocco’s Hamza Mendyl and Senegal’s Salif Sane in action while Algerian Nabil Bentaleb came off the bench.
The win for Schalke sees them joint top of the group alongside Porto with four points.
