Golden Arrows will be desperate to break their winless streak in the Absa Premiership when they host Black Leopards at Princess Magogo Stadium on 7 October 2018, kick-off at 15h30.

Arrows have now gone seven league matches without a victory after they were held 0-0 away to Orlando Pirates on October 3. The Durban side has scored just two goals in the sequence of results.

Abafana Bes’thende have recorded two draws and two defeats from their four home matches this season. They have scored just one goal in front of their supporters at Princess Magogo Stadium.

Leopards come into the game on the back of a 1-0 win at home to provincial rivals Baroka FC on October 3. It was just the second victory this season for the Limpopo side and broke a three-game losing streak.

Lidoda Duvha have picked up two points from three matches on the road this season, with their last away result a 4-0 defeat at the hands of SuperSport United last month.

In head-to-head stats, Arrows and Leopards have met in 18 top-flight league matches since 2001/02. Abafana Bes’thende have claimed seven wins compared to five for Lidoda Duvha, while six games have been drawn. The Durban side boast an unbeaten record in the rivalry, with six wins and three draws from nine games as hosts.

The teams last met in the Absa Premiership in the 2012/13 season. Leopards claimed four points from their two meetings, with a 0-0 draw in Durban and 2-1 home in in the return game.
