WATCH: Mali’s Moussa Djenepo leads St. Liege to victory in Europa League

Mali’s Moussa Djenepo scored the winning goal for St. Liege who beat Akhisar Genclik Spor 2-1 in an UEFA Europa League match on Thursday night.

St. Liege had a massive African contingent in their side with five Africans taking part in the form of Nigeria’s Uche Agbo, Morocco’s Mehdi Carcela-Gonzalez, Christian Luyindama Nekadio, Paul-Jose M'Poku Ebunge (both DRC) and Djenepo.

The win is Liege’s fist in the Europa League this season and sees them place third in Group J.
