Ghana will begin their preparations for the upcoming encounters against Sierra Leone on Monday.
The Black Stars are scheduled to face the Leone Stars in two 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification Group F matches later this month.
The team will start training under Ghana head coach Kwesi Appiah in Kumasi on Monday ahead of the two encounters.
This was confirmed by the FIFA/CAF Normalization Committee:
“The Black Stars are set to begin training on Monday, October 8, 2018, for the qualifier scheduled for Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the Baba Yara Stadium. The training starts at 3pm,” the Normalization Committee said in a statement released.
In August 2018, the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) appointed a Normalization Committee to manage the affairs Ghana Football Association (GFA) for the next six months. This was after the GFA was suspended.
Ghana are expected to welcome Sierra Leone at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on October 11.
The return leg will be played in Free Town four days later.
